Research Centre

 RCUB has introduced 5 research Centres in its province since inception. The Research Centre for Ph.D. in Commerce and allied areas of RCUB was established on 25th August 2012 in KLS’s Gogte College of Commerce by allotting 5 research guides and 30 research Scholars.

KLS Gogte College of Commerce enriched the research centre in the campus by adding modern facilities like seperate cubical, internet, printer, intercom and subscription to e-books, e-research journals and e-articles through N-list and supported by a common library which has 74,000 actual volumes.

GCC has launched biennial research journal “Prashastya” (ISSN-2340-6487) to strengthen research activities. The objective of the research journal is to build a strong research culture in and around the campus by promoting the articles written by UG and PG students, the Research Scholars, the staff and the Guides.

GCC has established in-house Faculty Development Research Centre (FDRC) in 2006, whose objectives, functions, impact and influence match with RCUB Research Centre in the campus. Dr. H.H. Veerapur, Principal, KLS’s Gogte of Commerce, Belagavi is research guide for M.Phil. scholars and MBA students. GCC has appointed Dr. Harshal Tamhankar as the co-ordinator and has formed an ‘Internal Research Committee’ in the year 2017-18 to facilitate the activities of the research Centre.

Faculty Digital Research Center (FDRC-2006) - A Best Practice

Mr. Aftab Patel, alumni of our college, who was working as CEO of a company in Oman has donated a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs in the name of his beloved mother towards FDRC in early 2006 Mr. Aftab Patel’s timely contribution will go long way in the history of our college. Equally, our institution has made sizable contribution and launched FDRC at the end of 2006. It facilitated the staff to carry research activities and pursue higher degrees, which could help them to excel in academics. It is housed next to the Staff Common Room with a Server room spacious RCU Research Center and 6 seperate cubical.
