Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte College of is one of the premier single faculty colleges along with allied course. The college is affiliated to Rani Channamma University (RCU) Belagavi. The College is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under 2(f) and 12 (b). It is recognized as a Research Centre for Ph.D in Commerce by RCU, Belagavi. The college is re-accredited at “A” grade (4thcycle) by NAAC, Bangalore.
The alumni of the College have occupied prominent position in the society as C.A., C.S., Industrialists, Educationists, MLAs, Mps, All India services, Defense Personnel. Advocates, Bankers and Sportsmen since 1954.We have dedicated & experienced teachers. We have university recognized Ph.D guides, painting artists of international repute, members who are invited as resource persons for various events. The College has rich library, a unique multi-gym, Faculty Digital Research Centre, 4 well equipped computer Labs, CCTVs for surveillance, DLPs in every class, e-attendance, WiFi campus, use of e- administration & so on.
The B.Com. programme is affiliated to RCU, Belagavi. It comprises of 6/8 semesters with duration of 3/4 years.
A distinctive instruction methodology has been designed to impart instructions for the course. The learning equipment & pedagogy used for instructional purpose includes the usage of DLP, TV, video films etc. The medium of instruction is English. However the needs of vernacular students are taken care of by the College
Admission For First Semester
The candidates who have secured a minimum of 35% in PUC II Commerce/Science, Job Oriented Course (JOC) or Diploma in engineering (three year duration of Govt of Karnataka) are eligible to apply for this course
Admission For Third and Fifth Semester
To seek admission to III and V Semesters, the students who have successfully kept terms for previous Semester are eligible for subsequent semester. If the students have not filled the Examination form of lower exam, they are not eligible to seek admission for subsequent

Students Should Adhere To The Rules Stated Below :

- Loitering around the college when classes are going on is forbidden.
- Students must keep the classrooms and the college premises clean and must throw the waste only in the dustbins provided.
- Ragging, consumption of alcohol, smoking, chewing of tobacco, gutkha, spitting, teasing and drug abuse etc. are forbidden in the college and hostel premises and such students are liable for heavy penalty which may be followed by the expulsion of the students from the college and hostel.
- Violations of any order, rule or notification issued by the Principal from time to time will be deemed to be misconduct, attracting severe punishment.
