NCC (National Cadets Corps) a voluntary organization administered by the Ministry of Defence, with motto “Unity and Discipline” Propelling in channelizing the force of vibrant youth in Nation Building since 1948. NCC Syllabus has been evolved to an integrated program based on three year basic course at the University level with an advantage of excursive adventurous training camps preparing for all round development of personality and writing ‘B’ & ‘C’ Certificate exams extending opportunities for recruitments in armed forces and other sectors. NCC Camps play vital role in national integration through coalesce living among varied cast, creed & culture. Ultimate aim of this organization is to blossom leadership, comradeship, courage, sportsmanship, secular outlook and ideals of selfless service.
National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Service Organization comprising the Army, Navy, and Air force engaged in grooming the ‘Youth & the Leaders of Tomorrow’ in to disciplined and patriotic citizen.
The College NCC Company is of 108 Cadets (SD/SW). It begins its exultant activities every year in the month of July. It present a glowing ceremony parade on 15th August and 26th January every year in the College.
The Company takes part in the several Constructive and Social activities like Yoga Day Celebration, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Tree Plantation, and Visit to old age Homes, Aids Awareness, Pulse Polio Programme, Traffic Awareness and Blood Donation Camp.
NCC Motto
The discussion for motto of NCC was started in 11th central advisory meeting (CAD) held on 11 August 1978. At that time there were many mottos in mind like “Duty and Discipline”; “Duty, Unity and Discipline”; “Duty and Unity”; “Unity and Discipline”. later, at the 12th CAD meeting on 12 Oct 1980 they selected and declared “Unity and Discipline” as motto for the NCC. In Irving up to its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation.
Aims of NCC
1.To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen.
2.To create a human resource of organized trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and be always available for the service of the nation.

“I do hereby solemnly promise that I will serve my motherland most truly and loyally and that, I will abide by the rules and regulations of the National Cadet Crops. Further under the command and control of my commanding officer I will participate in every camp most sincerely and wholeheartedly”,

- Institutional Training,
Institutional training conducted at Colleges and Schools is the mainstay of NCC training and is conducted by Associate NCC Officers and Armed Forces personnel. The syllabus comprises Common Subjects and Service Subjects in the ratio 70:30. While the Senior Wing/Division training is for three years and has 100 periods the Junior Wing Division training is for two years and encompasses 240 periods of training. The training year is from 01 Apr to 31 March Training schedules planned for cadets ensure that the optimum benefits of the organization reach maximum number of cadets. Emphasis is on practical training. Case study method of instruction, wherever possible.is made to facilitate active participation and better assimilation. Institutional training includes haste military training to the cadets as part of the curriculum and preplans them to join the Armed Forces. It is conducted with the following specific purpose-Firstly, to expose young cadets to a regimental way of life which is essential to inculcate in them the values of discipline, duty, potentiality, orderliness, smartness respect for the authorities. correct work ethus, and self-confidence Secondly, to generate interest in cadets by including and laying emphasis on those aspects of Institutional Trainingwhich attract young cadets into the NCC and provides them an element of thrill and excitementThirdly, to inculcate Defense Services work ethos that is characterized by hard work, sincerity of purpose, honesty,ideal of selfless service, dignity of labour, secular outlook comradeship, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship
2.Camp Training.
Camp training is the practical manifestation of institutional training. The basic aim of Camps is to introduce cadets to a regimented way of life and helps in developing camaraderie, team work, leadership qualities, self-confidence. Self-reliance and dignity of labour in the cadets. The cadets are exposed to the excitement of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they had gained in Institutional Training It is mandatory for Junior Division mior Wing cadets to attend at least one comp and Senior Division/ Senior Wing cadets to attend a minimum of two camps during the period of their enrolment, NCC conducts over 1450 canips annually at an average frequency of more than 100 camps in a month. Each NCC Camp is structured for approximately 400-600 cmdes with Instructional staff comprising three to four officers and 15:20 Associate NCC Officers (AND) Permanent Instructors (PI) Staff Whole Time Lady Officers (WTO) Girl Cadet Instructors (GCI). More than 8 lakh cadets attend these camps each year, Republic Day camp is the acme of NCC training and is conducted in Jamiary every year.
